Spotlight Feature: Keisha Green, Founder of Minimize Services
In the heart of New Orleans, Minimize Services is redefining what it means to support small businesses with excellence and intention. Founded by Keisha Green, Minimize Services offers notarial, bookkeeping, tax preparation, and business consulting — providing structure and clarity for entrepreneurs who want to grow and stay organized.
Keisha’s journey started with a simple nudge from home. “My husband encouraged me to use my organizational skills to assist small business owners,” she shares. What began as general clerical and administrative work quickly expanded beyond capacity. That’s when Keisha realized she needed to refocus and refine her services.
“I was performing too many general clerical and administrative tasks. Prayerfully, I thought and meditated until I settled on three primary services — notarial, bookkeeping, and tax preparation. Now, my pitch is concise.”
That clarity became a turning point. With renewed focus, Keisha streamlined her business model and communicated her capacity to existing clients. The result? More alignment, stronger systems, and a sustainable path forward.
Recent Wins
Keisha recently re-enrolled in university to complete the coursework required to sit for the CPA exam, a major milestone in her professional journey. She also completed the first of four parts in the Intuit QuickBooks program, further expanding her expertise. “It’s been a season of discipline and growth,” she says proudly.
Overcoming Challenges
For Keisha, one of the biggest challenges was learning to narrow her focus. “At one point, I was doing too much,” she admits. “But I realized that excellence requires boundaries. Through prayer and reflection, I found peace in specializing — and that decision changed everything.”
What Makes Minimize Services Unique
Keisha describes her “secret sauce” as her hands-on service style and intuitive nature. She doesn’t just manage numbers or documents — she connects with each client personally, understanding the story behind their business and helping them make confident, informed decisions.
Words of Wisdom
When asked what advice she would give to other aspiring entrepreneurs, Keisha’s message is simple but powerful:
“Read and network. Read as much as you can about your area of interest and get in spaces with people who can use your skill set. Growth happens when you keep learning and stay connected.”
Minimize Services continues to bloom as a trusted partner for New Orleans entrepreneurs ready to get organized, stay compliant, and operate with clarity. Keisha’s journey is a testament to the power of focus, faith, and follow-through — qualities that truly make Black women in business unstoppable.
